In an interview, Greene was asked how he would help create jobs in South Carolina?  His plan - Alvin Greene action figures:

"Another thing we can do for jobs is make toys of me, especially for the holidays. Little dolls. Me. Like maybe little action dolls. Me in an army uniform, air force uniform, and me in my suit. They can make toys of me and my vehicle, especially for the holidays and Christmas for the kids. That's something that would create jobs. So you see I think out of the box like that. It's not something a typical person would bring up. That's something that could happen, that makes sense. It's not a joke."

Link forthcoming.

People, it's time to face the facts: You are talking about the next President of the United States here.

Sadly starting an Alvin Greene action figure toy line, isn't the most outrageous use of Pork I have ever heard.

Perhaps you don't understand: The fact that this one is true is the reason why Van Der Blubb is the greatest troll that the Atlas will ever know.

I swear, he needs to win.  He must win this seat.  It's only proper that this man, this mastermind of campaigning, must unseat Jim DeMint in November.

Wow, he IS the Forrest Gump of political candidates (and I say that in the most positive way possible).
I hope he wins.

Don't put it past him

The numbers: DeMint 58%, Greene 21%

Go down to S.C. and volunteer! I doubt that DeMint is going to put a lot of time aside for campaigning, perhaps this could be one of the greatest political upsets of all time? Lets test how anti-incumbent people are.

I specifically jumped on this board as soon as I got home from work to see what everyone was saying about this story. The man is a God. Period. Alvin Greene for President of the Universe.

Alvin can't win on his own. He needs DeMint to get caught in some gay sex scandal 4 days before the election. I'd say there's no chance of that except this is South Carolina.

Also, where and when can I buy these figures? I mean, surely they'll be made now.

I would buy one if it were less than 10 bucks.

Someone email his campaign email

Looks like Bubba to me

Merchandising, merchandising, where the real money from the campaign is made. Alvin Greene the T-shirt. Alvin Greene the lunchbox. Alvin Greene the coloring book. Alvin Greene... the flamethrower! Kids love it. And my favorite, Alvin Greene the Doll -- me!

I am working on arranging it as we speak.

Alvin Greene... the flamethrower!
I'd buy that if it's well-designed!

I think Alvin Greene should be appointed to fill Robert Byrd's vacant seat.  People in West Virginia would appreciate his honest demeanor and ability to expect the peoples' will, as expressed at the ballot box, to prevail.  If he could learn how to fiddle, he'd be a lock to win a full term in 2012.

Here's another article I read today, conducted by an old friend I knew from High School! I had no idea he got the opportunity to interview the legend known as Alvin Greene.
