Well, there were certainly some interesting results tonight. That's all I'll say.

So far, not looking good for the Dems in the Senate - they're getting killed in the South, and even in Alaska. And let's not forget South Dakota...

Yes, they won Colorado...*sniff* why did Ben Nighthorse Campbell have to retire?! I rather liked him...he was better than either of the two guys running to replace him. Sad

House: Upset in Illinois-8! And I'll be damned: Chet Edwards survives again in Texas-17! I guess Waco came through for him. Otherwise, as expected, even in Kentucky-4. So much for Hollywood power...

Oh, yeah, presidential race: Bush wins NM. Count on it. All the swing counties went for him, even Dona Ana, which surprised the heck out of me!

And leaving on a local note, my only gloat of the night:

THE ROAD BONDS PASSED IN ALBUQUERQUE! AFTER 15 ING YEARS OF FIGHTING! P*SS OFF, ALL OF YOU LEFT-WING ANTI-GROWTH GREENIE POLITICALLY-CORRECTOCRAT BIGOTED SOCIALIST BASTARDS! WOO HOO!!!!!!! AND THE MUNICIPAL RUNOFFS PASSED AS WELL! I KNOW ONE LEFTIST CITY COUNCILLOR WHO IS IN DEEP, DEEP SH!T NEXT YEAR! YAY!!!!

*ahem* Yes, I cared more for the local issues than the Presidential race...they affected me more. Wink
