he pulls in Missouri, Oklahoma, performs better in California and other states, carrys the south by a wider margin.

The real thing is right after super Tuesday. He'd win in Washington, Virginia, Wisconsin and then take Texas and most likely Ohio (all for sure if Romney still was in the race which is possible since he wouldn't be as willing to drop out and endorse Huckabee)

Agreed. Obama/Biden vs Huckabee/Bush:



Huckabee/Bush (R) 278
Obama/Clinton (D) 260

The critical state, as in 2004, is Ohio.
