I've lost interest in the forum and I've wasted far too much time here.

To those I consider forum friends, it's been nice and I hope to keep contact in some form.

Cheers.

Liberal

You do know who is leading the Coalition don't you?

Out of the two, I'd say the ALP - that, in spite of minimal political difference between them. Gillard's ALP may be bad, but Abbott's Coalition can only be much worse.

Normally, I should be a Lib supporter. But I've always hated the SOB Howard. I was thinking that, once he's gone, normal service would resume. I would have been for the Libs, if they were led by Costello or either of the interims. But the Libs managed to get themselves led by the one other guy who makes me a passionate Lab supporter this time as well. Pity!

I'll be preferencing the ALP. Local Liberal candidate is as bad as the sitting Labor MP, and Tony Abbott is definitely not someone I want leading my nation.

I suppose I could say that I want to be able to say I'd support the Liberals but I can't. Probably for the same reason as much as I wanted to support the Tories under IDS, I had to wait until he was gone. I could even say that Tony Abbott makes me feel uncomfortable (see how it feels Tony? Wink ) The Liberals haven't learned from their last defeat, so for the sake of themselves they need to lose again. Sorry guys Sad

First pref the Greens (or Democrats Grin), but obviously I most certainly want Labor to win. I fear an Australia led by the mad monk Msgr. Abbott.

Labor, of course. Not just for the usual reasons (which are strong enough), but because having a Welsh Prime Minister somewhere is objectively A Good Thing.

I would say the Coalition, but I don't like Abbot that much. Gillard is the kind of person I would like if she were a little more conservative, but she isn't.
