Just bringing this up, I think after the vote we should discuss a color change.

I concur. JCP also uses a form of green; we should try something else.

Perhaps a form of yellow?

@Sargent, those are good, but I like the logo. I'm open to discussion, though.

I like Orange personally.

Yellow would be a really good idea, since the party has libertarian leanings and yellow is the international symbol of libertarianism and free trade.

Orange is not really a political color per se. The first thing that pops to mind is the Orange Revolution in Ukraine and Irish unionism. It's also important in the Netherlands and New York City.

Emerald is a nice color that fits this party. We voted on it when the party was in its infancy. Let the JCP change their own color if it's such a problem.

I really like yellow as well, but orange shows up better.

I really like Ameriplan's second logo and green seems like a good, populist color.

I guess I represent the non-libertarian wing (is there one?) when I say I'm not into the whole yellow thing.

There most certainly is.

Anywho, upon latter reflection, I won't be supporting a color change unless it has border-line unamimous support/desire in the party.

We ought to set a poll, assuming this site allows you to post one where you can see the names of people who voted to so that we can filter out any non-populares.

The problem is that changing colors would essentially be surrendering to terrorism.

In case it isn't common knowledge here, our party color on the Wiki has been vandalized repeatedly by a member of the JCP, who suddenly decided it was his prerogative to change our color without asking. The edit wars continue to rage on.

We've also been threatened with legal action by JCP leaders if we didn't agree to change our color.

So why exactly are we giving in to them and even considering changing colors unilaterally?

I really don't know why we are wasting time debating established party colors and logos when we have important election campaigns coming up, and lots of recruitment and other work to be done.

This.

Anywho, yeah, let's drop the talk of color-change until later.

This is not how I will be voting in the general, but rather what I think the party itself should be doing.

The election will begin before you close your endorsement vote, by that schedule.

Dont read too into my rankings people. If you got a lower preference, its mainly because I feel you can survive without the endorsment.
