FDR chooses not to seek reelection in 1940.  What happens?

I know that James Farley was going to run for the Democratic nomination until FDR announced that he wasn't stepping down.

Possible Democratic Candidates
Vice-President John Garner
Postmaster General James Farley
Mississippi Senator Theodore Bilbo
Someone else...

Possible GOP candidates
Businessman Wendell Wilkie
Manhattan District Attorney Thomas E. Dewey
Senator Robert Taft
Senator Arthur Vandenberg
Pennsylvania Governor Arthur James

I've often considered turning this race into a novelization. Imagine if you had Farley, Charles Lindbergh, Wilkie, Cactus Jack, etc.

Anyway, I figure that it would be a Farley vs. Lindbergh race. In that race I see Farley narrowly prevailing.
