Assuming this is 1992, Goldwater beats Bush, Sr. for the GOP nomination and Paul replaces Perot as the "wild card." Clinton/Gore barely reach 20 EV's.

Goldwater's social views are better than Paul's. Paul's foreign policy views are better than Goldwater's. Since social issues are slightly more important to me than foreign policy, Goldwater/Paul.

He couldn't even win there in 1964, and he would do even worse now, given that he became a far leftist on social issues.
