Angle, Paul, and Rubio. If only one wins, it fizzles in 2011. If two win, it ends by 2013. If all three win, it ends in 2017 or so.

It might come back, though. The original conservative movement in the GOP was thrown by the wayside after Goldwater, but came back in force (albeit in drag) under Reagan in the 76 and 80 cycles.

As soon as a Republican wins the Presidency since it is nothing but an extension of the Republican party.

When there is a white president, obviously.

^^^

The movement is mostly white suburbanites subconsciously scared of having a black man in charge. Once Obama leaves office the movement will die off.

I doubt the Tea Party is that racist. Most Teabaggers would probably be just as scared if Hillary Clinton or a white male Democrat was President right now instead of Obama. Most Teabaggers are afraid of Democrats expanding the size of the govt., rather than being afraid of a black President.

Not sure what people putting their scrotum in people's mouths has to do with being afraid of Obama or Clinton, but otherwise agreed. The problem is that there are many tea parties who are afraid of Democrats expanding the size of government but have no problem with Republicans doing so. And once the Republicans regain the White House and Congress many will think they have "won". Real Tea Partiers will be just as concerned about Republicans expanding government as they are Democrats.

2012. No lucid Republican can expect to win the election by going around embracing tea party activists and rallies.
