I recently watched all of the Democratic debates from 2007/08. I must say that (then) Sens. Obama and Clinton really did not perform well, and (then) Gov. Bill Richardson and (then) Sen. Biden sounded the strongest. Sad that they didn't do better in the primaries.

Gravel was terrific. It'd be great if they let him debate Obama this year.
