I thought he had died already. RIP. He was always a real funny interview. A relic of a different time really. Even if politicians were a bit corrupt back then at least they had a human touch.
Politicians are still corrupt- just in an impersonal way.

I remember reading something (must have been nearly a decade ago) in which he commented on redistricting from the point of view of an experienced gerrymanderer. Quite openly.
I think background might have a lot to do with it.
