WOW!!!  This is interesting.  Doesn't really change anything I guess.  It gets closer though.  Is Iowa done counting yet.  Can Kerry un-concede.

We need more information on this, I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere.  But if Kerry picks up New Mexico it is going to change who we say was this years prediction winner.

CNN is showing Bush 370,706 - Kerry 362,340.  Looks like the New Mexico SoS's website hasn't been updated.

It's constantly updating, though, and it looks like someone just hadn't added in some more votes for Bush.  He's ahead on that site now.

Why does the SoS website say that only 1 county is reporting?

Results for: Statewide Results                   Number Of Voters:  721397
Results as of: 11/4/2004 5:52:01 PM        Counties Reporting:  1

I know I check CNN before I posted it.  Conflicting reports and all.  Just wanted to let the people on the board know what might be happening.  A big rumor control.

Um....that site says:

JOHN F. KERRY and JOHN EDWARDS Democratic 349014 49.0%
GEORGE W. BUSH and DICK CHENEY Republican 354698 49.8%

Bush has more.....am I missing something?

This could possible change, but obviously the SoS's website is having some issues...late updates or whatever.  This thread should be disregarded as premature.

It has changed since I posted it.  Interesting.  Will they finish counting it, when it doesn't really matter anyway. Right.

MSNBC reports that NH, WI, IA and NM are leaning to Bush; I'm very surprised.

J.J. - provide a link to this, please.  I see that MSNBC has WI called for Kerry and NH still up in the air, but Kerry is 10,000 ahead in the vote count.  How are those two "leaning to Bush"?

I suppose it could be true.  They probably haven't counted provisionals and military ballots, but that could equally benefit Kerry in New Mexico or Iowa.  Interesting, nonetheless.

Absentee ballots tend to give the GOP a slight boost.

The New Mexico Secretary of State's office is a collection of anal retentive incompetent political hacks. And the Secretary of State herself is even worse: she is thought poorly of by BOTH parties. And never, never, discount attempts at political fraud in NM.

The SoS of NM says the county clerks had to delete some totals when she decided that they had to report data by precient instead of by county. Thats why Kerry took a lead for awhile..
