http://gizmodo.com/5611713/man-scrawls-worlds-biggest-message-with-a-gps-pen

One man drove 12,238 miles and across 30 states in the U.S. to scrawl a message that could only be viewed using Google Earth. His big shoutout:

Why would a libertarian draw a slogan telling people to read the writings of an insane woman who called libertarians "a monstrous, disgusting bunch of people"?  Roll Eyes

I see no proof that he's a libertarian.

There's the fact that he spent a month doing this instead of something productive, perhaps?

So the world's largest message is about Rand? Well thats kinda of disconcerting isn't it? Couldn't it be "We apologise for the inconvenience."

Ah of course, it must have been a liberal who went to this much effort to promote the writings of Ayn Rand.  How silly of me.

Agreed. Now if he had promoted someone with actually good ideas, like Murray Rothbard, it would be a different story.

Well if we want to be lazy in plugging authors, Sun Tzu would be a better choice. That beats Ayn Rand by one letter. Tongue

I wonder how he could afford it.

I find Ayn Rand and her quack ideology to be repulsive.

It's funny that his journey didn't take him through some of the areas that would be absolutely destroyed (moreso than normal) by the acceptance of libertarianism.

Why are people still trying to pretend this has anything to do with libertarianism?

Ayn Rand was not a libertarian and Objectivism is incompatible with libertarianism according to both sides.
