Well, I'll defer to your knowledge on Queensland; a large part of that post was inference and guessing. It seems surprising, though; the Liberal brand is a lot more viable than the National brand.

I'm not sure if this new tendency to appeal to the apparent inherent evil of Xahar in all things even remotely related to forum policing or this damn game is especially helpful.

How is a final % possible when the AEC is only reporting 93.21% of the 2PP count?

93.21% is presumably the final turnout figure.

iirc, the % counted in Australia never goes to 100% because it is also the turnout figure or something confusing.

It's 93.21% counted of the possible vote, which is also, legally speaking, the only possible figure due to compulsory voting.

Sorry for bumping an ancient thread, but figured more appropriate posting here than in a new thread somewhere.

2010 Australian Federal Election - Senate Results Map

Party receiving a plurality of votes (by Division) in the Senate. WA Nationals are excluded from the Coalition vote. Includes a combination of above the line and below the line votes in calculating total votes cast for the winning ticket. As always, bigger version in the gallery.
