An idea, Senators, to make it clear, in law, that the RG ad SoFE are both members of the DoFA (Department of Forum Affairs) and thus one person could hold both jobs.

Also an idea about the DSoFE (the position, or, the job description, I really dont care which, and dont want to get into a "but the position is being abolished" argument) is to make it a volunteer position, as since it's an unpaid position, it means that anyone can do it (even the President) The only problem is that means that the DSoFE could not certify the election as he/she is not an agent of the government, but as part of their volunteer duties, they could give it "I will be submitting this to someone who can certify it" stamp, which is just as good. Then you'd need to make clear the list of people who can certify (RG, President, etc etc etc). This would eliminate the DSoFE position and replace it with the "Voluntary Election Agent" position

Lastly, I also recommend making it illegal for anyone to certify an election in which they themselves are a candidate. In order to prevent any loopholes, we should also make clear that people can reject a write-in even if they've written themselves in.

As of noon today, Homelycooking has been absent long enough that I, as PPT, may begin the expulsion procedure. I will inform the SoFE when/if he is officially expelled.

Also note that this is my outbox, my inbox is in the other forum. IE I leave messages for the Senate here, but the Senate should leave it's messages for me in my DoFE thread in the elections forum.

I'd like to propose a law that would see cabinet members (specific ones, like SoFE) able to hold regional positions (like Governor). Or... is this currently allowed? If not, then I'd like to propose such a law as I'm very likely to run for Governor.

I'm personally not opposed to allowing dual office holding for regional positions, but I doubt such a thing would pass.
