IdeologiesConservative Party: Divided between two wings, both generally oppose raising taxes. On social issues, some are traditionally conservative (for Britain), while others actuially support civil unions and LGBT adoption. They support the War in Afghanistan, and the continuation of a nuclear defense system.
Labour Party: Member of Socialist International, though in recent years has moved to the British political center (to the right of the Lib-dems) and distanced themselves so much from Socialism that the name "Labour Party" is a bit of a joke. Support the Welfare state and would be considered Socially Liberal. Pretty much a big, big-tent party that's trying to stretch its poles a little to far in all directions.
Liberal Democrats: Support Social Liberalism, Electoral Reform, Higher Taxes, favor the welfare state, and oppose the War in Afghanistan.
With that in mind, I would say something like this:
