It's time to campaign again, because you never know when an unannounced write-in candidacy will be non-announced!

So strike up the band (with lots and lots of trombones, because trombones rule!), let's get on the march!

Mr. Former Governor, could you tell the voters what your accomplishments were during your last term as Governor?  And what do you hope to accomplish if elected again?

Ilikeverin, what's your opinion on the current regional-rights issue, brought up by Governor Ernest?

Making me go back to past threads... *mutters to self*

Hmm, I hope to establish a process of declaring oneself for candidate fo the Midwest, so a mishap like last time would not have happened (although I'm not saying I dispute last time's results, and I'll allow lots of time to announce yourself Kiki).  I also would take an informal survey of whether the Midwest would like some sort of regional government or some such.

Well, I don't think the Governorship should exist in the first place, although I'm not entirely sure how redistricting would work then.

However, we must work with what we're getting, so for now, I support perhaps some sort of regional government.  Because of the new, increased importance of the governorship, I'd also like to nominate a Leiutenant Governor...

Clay, would you please step forward? Smiley

Thank you, verin.  It's time to put you back in the governor's seat!  And I hope I can help you get there as your nominee for Lieutenant Governor.

I enthusiastically support the ILV/Clay ticket!

Independents for the midwest!

The midwest has a great history of election independents (Wink), and I hope they don't break it now Smiley

I re-like ILike. Even though he remains on the bad list for BAAAD second-to-fouth preferences in the presidential elections.

*the speech hall in a suburban high school is hastily re-organized.  the news crews look confused*

This is my victory speech!

*crowd cheers*

*does thumb up thing*

*crowd cheers*

Thank you for voting for me!

*crowd cheers very loudly*

Aren't I cool?

*crowd continues cheering*

I'd like to thank the Academy...

*the crowd stops cheering as their voices are hoarse*

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...

*the crowd settles with clapping loudly*

Guns are bad, pot is bad, public healthcare is good, trees are good, education is good.

*loud clapping*

Thank you!  *waves*

*cheers!*

And look, as an extra special bonus, you get to see a figure that looks vaguely like me!  (Glasses, blonde hair, blue eyes... and I've been told my nose is exactly right Confused)

Extra spiffy bonus points if you do not have The Sims and you can guess what the stuff on the right is, and spiffy bonus points if you do not have The Sims 2 and can guess what the thing on the top-right hand corner is! Smiley
