Who has a diatribe of political goals he wants met.

And yes it's terrorism as it meets 3 mains goals:
1. Act of violence or threat of violence
2. Aimed at civilians
3. With a POLITICAL motive.

That 3rd on is important, and is what separates a disgruntled worker who got fired from a terrorist - although they don't have to be mutually exclusive.

I only included 'left wing' in there because of the members on here who go on and on about right wing terrorism. The fact of the matter is that it occurs with both sides of the spectrum, and it's not tolerable or excusable in either case.

I never understood people like him. He goes on a tirade about not wanting war, and then he ends up taking hostages with an armed weapon. The stupidity of the irony involved would be hilarious if it wasn't so serious. This is a serious nutjob.

No. I hope it all ends well. But I also don't like double standards. And I'm not trying to score political points as not once did I rant about the left, as that would go against my main grievance when it comes to discussing domestic terrorism. It's inexcusable regardless of who the actor is, and it doesn't represent the party, either. That's pretty much apolitical as you can get.

I strongly encourage Democratic elected officials and talk show hosts to stop talking about the Discovery Channel's tyranny and treason. They should stop encouraging their activists to arm themselves against their enemies and seek out "Second Amendment solutions" to policy disagreements. I stand with you against that double standard that allows that.
