Lean FF. I don't agree with much of what he says, but he's good for a laugh.

Especially on Top Gear.

In the light of recent events, it's time to bump this old, but still relevant thread:

I'm mostly unsettled that Phony apparently wanted Diane Abbott as leader than anything else

The guy, check that, all 3 Top Gear hosts have become parodies of themselves. I remember loving the show around a decade ago, now all their "banter" is getting on my nerves.

Never even pretended to like Top Gear. I hate cars, sports, machismo, and basically everything Clarkson is associated with. Here's also terrible and unfunny whenever he's on QI.

That said, I don't mind him as a person. The media reaction to all his mildly controversial statements always seems feigned and way overblown.

Just a plain old HP. That sort of machismo humour isn't funny to me at all.

He's a boofhead, but God help me if I don't enjoy Top Gear (even though it peaked about 6-7 years ago).

FF. He's hilarious, I love Top Gear, and he doesn't care about being overly PC and conforming to normal TV standards. He's an FF even if sometimes his jokes offend people.

I don't see what the fact that he's funny have to do with whether he's a FF or HP. I as example find Cosby funny, that doesn't mean that I think he's a FF.

I find his humor to be brilliant and absolutely hilarious. I think having a good sense of humor moves somebody at least a bit towards FF. In his case, he really does have a passion for cars and combines it with the humor to make an awesome show. He's done a great job as presenter imo.
