I think the 9% jump in blaming the Republicans when you add Bush's name to the equation shows that some of this is just hatred of George Bush.

Equal pay for equal work?
7+ months of consecutive private sector job growth?
Credit card reform?
Financial reform?
Health care reform?
The stimulus (which the CBO estimates helped a fair bit)?
Student loan reform?
Draw-down of combat troops in Iraq?
Actual FDA control in regulating tobacco?
Successful "bailout" of the American auto industry?
S-CHIP expansion?
Ending the ban on needle-exchange programs?
Landmark hate crimes legislation?
Full support of stem-cell research?
Nuclear arms reduction deal with Russia?
To suggest that Democrats haven't done anything isn't just disingenuous, it's a complete and utter lie.
Fair enough.......they why isn't the
professional left
happy? With a laundry list like that they should be doing back flips.

I'm not counting Dave Leip. He used to be the only moderator when I first started posting here. There were no "infraction points" or anything like that back then. I'd just get an email message once in a while that said something like, "Please avoid drunken, emotional diatribes. Thank you, Dave Leip" or "Please refrain from linking to pornographic websites. Thank you, Dave Leip."

His list certainly makes me feel like I've gained more individual freedoms under this administration.

I don't know, ask Press Secretary Gibbs......he coined the phrase and seems rather disgusted with them, whoever they are?

How will the pubs do well in November if it's all Bush's fault?

If Marokai's list is all good
why are the Dems distancing themselves so much from Obama?

Not necessarily. I think most on that list has been overlooked by how unpopular the stimulus and Health Care Reform has been made out to be. Those issues being over hyped, and how unpopular they made it out to be, is being tied to the Administration. Some Democrats who are in trouble are going to distance themselves from that in attempts to get re-elected, yes?

The public doesn't know about that list. And the few they do know, like Health care reform, they have been taught to hate (I don't like it that much either but it's much better than the current system. Actually it's the current system with a safety net. Further reforms will be needed later though). People are probably still waiting for the death panels to kick in and for the gubmint to come in and take away their medicare and medicaid.

Most people look
forward
, not backward.
The key is the right track/wrong track numbers. The latest NBC numbers show it to a record 61% wrong track.

You know, I tend to think idiots are a vocal minority. Besides, your saying this on the assumption that there is no good reason for a non-policy wonk to oppose this. It's this sort of arrogance that has driven rural whites away from the Democrats.
