     Boxer's not a terribly weak candidate, so the leaners will probably come home anyway. This race is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in the nation.

Despite the minor problems with this poll, it's still great to see Fiorina leading. She'll face a tough fight. Boxer is pretty difficult to beat, even in a Republican wave.

Once she starts playing the "too conservative for CA" label, that will be enough to get Boxer back on top. 

It works almost every time and it did back in 98 vs Matt Fong.
