In other news, all the right wing radio talk show hosts broadcast in the LA area (and elsewhere) are bashing Christine. It seems to be a full court press. Is everyone really that worried that this nutter loser might be nominated?

Mark Levin endorsed her.

According to the last metrics I have seen Castle has a better record on immigration that some well known "Conservatives" like Sam Brownback and John McCain.

The problem you see is Castle is undependable. You wouldn't want a one or two vote margin to come down to someone like him, Murkowski, Snowe, etc. They'll stab you in the back.

lol, thats actually impossible. They aren't stabbing you in the back unless you unrealistically expected them to vote like good old Southern style conservatives on every piece of legislation, which you evidently expect of every single Republican regardless of state. That is an unrealistic approach to politics that is doomed to fail. Get as best as you can get in the state in question. I will gladly back Snowe in 2012 because there is no reasonable alternative other then some left wing New England Democrat. At the very least Snowe is a warm body that could put Sessions in charge of the Judiciary committe instead of Leahy. Castle is the best you can get in Delware, just like Snowe is in ME.

I see Castle as very dependable. He won't be a  pro-life vote and I wouldn't expect that from a DE Senator.

Plus can you really honestly back O'Donnell? Regardless of Castle, I wouldn't be could dead supporting that headcase.

I used to listen to a lot of talk radio people. I have since quit, because I decided that doing so was decreasing the total mass of brain matter in my head. The only radio show I listen to know is the reruns on Coast to Coast AM on Saturday nights from the mid to late 90's so I can laugh at all the quacks and get all nostalgic for better times. Mostly the latter.

O'Donnell is not going to get above 35% of the vote in New Castle county. You tell me how she stands a snowball's chance in hell in the general. Better yet, you tell me why you can put aside all these troubling things about her just because Levin likes her. I just hope for your sake, that Levin doesn't say that jumping off a 20 story building is a smart move. Roll Eyes

Yeah, we know, its cool to hate the talking heads on this hack forum. Levin is a constitutional lawyer. Tell me why I should take your word over his.

I am familiar with Levin's biography. This isn't a question of my word against his. I don't care what Levin says and I have no idea what his priority is, it certainly isn't winning the Delaware Senate seat or gaining the majority in the Senate.

People who need other people to tell them who to vote for shouldn't be voting.

So did Hannity just 15 minutes ago or so. Saying it doesn't make it so. You tell me how that nutcase will get above 35% in New Castle county.

She claimed to win two. She didn't really win any. I'm assuming Rowan was being sarcastic.

I couldn't believe that she actually claimed she won two counties against Biden, she's got to be off if she would fabricate something that can be easily verified. Anyone who thinks this nutcase can win the general is an unrealistic, ideological purist. I don't know why anyone would want her in public office, she's not stable.

Yeah, I now realize that.  Did she really claim to have won two counties in 2008??

She made the claim at some event she was speaking at. It was discussed in that interview where claimed people were hiding in the bushes.
