Wow this man has nothing to run on.

Also, if his opponent is 'toast' as his campaign said, why is he even running ads?

Get lost Grayson.

The ad's terrible - and that's not just because I don't like politicians who claim they do things "for the children" and if you're not with them, you're against "the children".   It's just creepy.

Wow, that was terrible. I'm never too crazy about a candidate bringing kids, especially their own, into a Presidential race, which is one of the few reasons that I have some respect for Obama - he kept his kids out of the campaign.

This ad made me very sad and very angry, and I don't fully know why.

Yeah, I enjoyed the ad but not on the level I was supposed to. It looked like something from Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!

This ad made me very sad and very angry, and I don't fully know why.

Is it because Grayson is claiming credit for something he had nothing to do with (ie the 26 billion that Obama shipped to state and local public employees to keep his base happy)?  Or is it having the kids start chanting as if they were being inculcated into a cult or something?  Or both?

Would it be possible (and I'm not singling you out, Torie -- for once) to just have one thread to dump all of these campaign ads in, instead of starting a thread for "Check out this new ad by ________" every time someone feels the urge?

Lol.  I was half expecting a spiral pattern when the kids started chanting:

"You are feeling very sleepy . . ."

Why don't you set one up and maintain it, like I am maintaining the generic poll thread?  It is of course a good idea, but Sam said he has enough on his plate already, and is disinclined to maintain these little subtopic threads himself. So I decided to just do it with the generic poll stuff, although of course that does not preclude anyone from starting their own thread with a generic poll. But so far I have had a couple of posters use my thread for new generic polls, and then I change the headline to keep it current, and let folks know there is new action.

Does that make sense?

Unfortunately, I don't have moderator powers to merge all the various ad threads that have popped up over the past week or so. But, I guess I'll try.

Yes we can't do that, but hopefully most posters will cooperate.
