If O'donnell and lamontagne win, I think every moderate or moderate-to-conservative republican should become an independent, like redcommander has done!

So we could provide even less of a safeguard than we do now?

Delaware must be the only place where I'm backing the "establishment" Republican....

Thats not an equitable comparison.  O'Donnell is a deeply flawed conservative in a hard left state (only because of one county, but still).  Though I heavily support Ayotte (because she is hard right...she even used the let's make America english speaking only line in tonights debate), Lamontagne is likeable and hard right conservatives can win in NH as opposed to Delaware.  Castle is awful on some issues, but I just don't see us doing better than him in that state.

Man, it is like she wants her party to fail. I'm still confident that Castle will defeat O'Donnell, though.

At the beginning of this primary season, I liked Sarah Palin a lot. Now I despise her. The only "important" endorsement she ever made that I liked was Karen Handel in Florida. She destroyed a wonderful Senator, and is ready to toss out all hopes of Republicans capturing the Senate just so the more conservative candidate can get destroyed in the general election.

Is Sarah Palin even aware that this isn't helping the GOP? Is she trying to keep the Democrats in control of the Senate?

So, has Gingrich endorsed yet?

Also, I don't listen to the talk radio people but I hope they are all over this race pushing for O'Donnell.

They are not at all (there are slamming her continually), except for Limbaugh.

And here is another another article on the Delaware race. Apparently O'Donnell also suffers from paranoid delusions, in addition to her other psychological problems.

I'm surprised you all still even talk about her on here as though she has any political merit. Sarah does what is best for SARAH. She only appeals to a very small fraction of the Republican Party and an even smaller fraction of the American populace. Simply put, she really doesn't care about the Republican Party (despite always calling Democrats socialists and tax and spend liberals and other euphemisms that she doesn't even know what they mean) or America in general (despite claiming that some parts of the country are more "pro-America" than other parts since they vote GOP). Sarah cares about Sarah. That's why she bailed on the people of Alaska to further her own political ambitions and rack in the dough. I've said it once and I've said it before, she's nothing but a dimwitted opportunistic imbecile.

You don't have to respect Sarah's political integrity or wisdom to acknowledge that her endorsement carries weight in Republican primaries.

That said, I question whether this is enough to carry this particular candidate over the finish line...

And the answer is, is that nobody knows, in this phone booth closed primary.

It was clearly enough for Miller. Of course, this isn't Alaska. I just wish we actually knew if the primary was competitive before this endorsement or not. I'm guessing it was based on all of the blackballing of O' Donnell but who knows...

My link had a number that among likely voters, before Sarah defecated, that had Castle ahead in some poll by 2%. Of course the poll could be garage, but this one may be a nail biter. Hannity has drunk the kool aid. Maybe the phone booth voters watch Hannity a lot. I wish Hannity would take a vacation - a long one. By the way, the night before Sarah called in, he had Malkin on, to discuss how horrible it was that the GOP establishment was pushing non "conservatives" on folks. Oh the horror, the horror!

Isn't he the one that matters most out of all of them though? Is he backing her or just not bashing her like the others?

The Republican electorate in Delaware is probably as conservative or more conservative than that in Alaska.  Look at how many moderate Castle Republicans switched to the Democratic side in 2008.  What's left is a leaner, more conservative Republican electorate.

Is there a third party possibility for Castle if O'Donnell somehow makes it through on the 14th?

Well, looks like we finally have the opportunity to send Palin the message she so desperately needs to hear - that is, that she desperately needs to screw off with her joke candidates. I can count all the decent people she's endorsed on one hand.
