I have deep reservations about this bill. Of course, it is easy to make a statement of hatred towards Hamilton and he is most certaintly derserving of such treatment and more, but I don't think it right or proper to establish the precedent, that the passage of this bill would set.

For the record, I plan to veto this if it passes. It seems ill-advised to open old wounds and it is much more prudent for us to focus on current issues.

Good point. But looking at the votes cast while I was composing my last two posts that seems redundant. Debate is over now, and this measure accomplished its goal of injecting some levity into the Senate chamber. Wink
