Thanks for proposing this for me Yank. The Senate will need to fill in the blanks on what it considers critical.

I sent a special PM to all the Senators about it.

MY problem right now is what to do with the Financial Regulation Bill, since we are currently debating a bill to amend and improve it, so I don't know whether to go ahead and include or wait for that to finish up.

How much time to we have to get this done?

Hmm, would any Supreme Court folks like to chime in?

While I have my own feelings towards a reboot, I would also like to hear from a few members (past or present) of the Supreme Court.

Presumably before the regions finish voting on the new Constitution, assuming that the "restart" clause is maintained.

My thoughts would be maintaining voting and criminal code legislation to maintain basic order following the ratification of the Constitution.

I know Teddy recently posted a list of all the Forum Affairs-related legislation. I'm sure it doesn't all fall under the auspices of "critical," and I think a debate about election counting procedures is definitely worth having if the new Constitution is ratified, but some parts are definitely good to keep. That's a place to start.

What about the OSPR?

I think to have to recompile the Senate's procedures would be mundane, monotonous and a big waste of time.

Come on Senators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well obviously the legislation critical to the game's function should be kept... Though at the same time some of it has been amended so many times I wouldn't mind starting it over.

Of course, but we could always reform it or redo it at any point. I think for the sake of maintaining some continuity in law and game function would be essential. Which means we need to deside what to keep and what to get rid of.

As the Convention has removed the legislative restart clause, this legislation should be withdrawn/tabled.

Okay, I move to table this bill

Bill is now tabled.

If this needs a second, one of you Senators who didn't bother to post here can take care of it after the fact. Tongue
