Can anyone explain the results out of Sharkey county, Mississippi?
Kerry 1553 Bush 1115 Cobb 145??? Harris 94??? Badnarik 74??? Nader 52??? Peroutka 48???.  Smaller party candidates got 13.5%.  This is not your usually third party demographic either.  It is 70% black and poor.  Is this just a protest of some sort.  In 2000 the county also gave third parties a strong showing with 4.3%.
I realize this is minutae but interesting, to me at least,  nonetheless.

Very interesting. I've been looking and I have no idea.

Something to do with the way the ballot is designed maybe? They seem to lack an elections site.

EDIT: I love the Mississippi state elections site...it hasn't even be updated for this election.
