Ideally you should mix them, but thats a lot of work. With only 2 women on the second list you might as well go with the first (100 greatest men) its got the categories sorted out already.

There seems to be a small revival of survivor games.
So, I must update all the lists of finished, available, etc. survivors soon: you bother me, Miss and guys

Done.
It's clean now. And, who knows, maybe I'll try to be back in this survivor business in June

Thanks.
Its not a big deal, but Greenland is in North America not Europe.
I would like to take over two dead survivors: wormguys Signatories of the anti-comintern treaty and David Dukes Best looking G20 head of state. They would both be worth playing.

Do not hesitate !
But please start them again from the beginning ! That's far better (the anti-Comintern, especially, had wrongly begun
)
And, as far as Greenland is Danish, I'll keep it in Europe

So if I made a survivor about New Caledonia you would also categorize it as Europe because its French?

A lot of the current survivors are not updated regularly at the moment. To prevent the board from dying again, maybe we could tighten the rules, so survivors that are not updated becomes available to others after 14 days?
(its 30 at the moment)
I would also suggest a rule, that no poster is allowed to run more than 3 survivors at a time.
Its kind of a "Lex Kalwejt" (sorry Kal, but you start too much sh

You have noticed too, about Kal
?
14 days, I find it a bit harsh, but let me think a bit (many personal problems currently
, plus legislative elections to follow in France
)

Failed french presidential candidates hasn't been updated since May 15, so that would be free now if you implemented a 14 days limit.
Maybe 20 days as a compromise? 30 is too long.

Ask Kal if he is OK to "give" you his survivor.
He may agree.
3 weeks seems a good compromise indeed.
I'll change the rules when I have some time.
Sorry, but there elections in France, and I'm busy...
Let's wait until the end of June.

I mailed Kal before about his survivors. So no point.

OK, you've won.
You're a bit of a queen here
, as the sub-board was dead, more or less, and you seem to have resurrected it a bit (even if I'm not optimistic for the longer term
).
Rules have been changed, in an utterly dictatorial way:
- inactive survivors can be taken by anybody after 3 weeks (it means 21 days, eh ?)
- 5 (and not 3) off-topic survivors can be managed at the same time
- 2 (and not 1) off-topic survivors can be managed at the same time by the same forumer
- options are valid for 2 months (and not 3).

Well, I think that 5 off topic survivors are a bit much. But it is only 3 at the moment, so I hope nobody opens any more before we are finished with them.
Status at the moment:
Off topic
Olympic sports
City off
US counties (active, but pretty slow)
On topic
Active
Lost their job in 2011
US political parties
Inactive
(Kalwejts 5 survivors)
Worlds current dictators
Polish presidents
Failed French presidential candidates
French Prime ministers
Non presidential heads of state (France)
Still hoping you will just reopen and finish them Kal. Otherwise there should be room for a couple of new "On topic" survivors, so let me know if you stay mad
.
I prefer to finish the ones you opened before we start new ones, since they are all good ones.

Haven't you PMed Kal before, politicus ?
That's what you said, I think, and what I advice in my... ahem... so-called "rules"
On the other hand, Kal, given past experience
, politicus may have legitimately thought that your survivors were abandoned for good.

I PMed him a couple of times asking him to return to the board and finish the surviors. But not about this one in particular.

Could I get people to join in on a series of survivors containing Presidential cabinets? Has this been done yet fab dear?

Can't you read the list of survivors already done ?!?
Well, apart from Obama cabinet (a very fine one by Kal in 2009) and Confederate cabinet (by myself in 2011), nobody has used this fine idea. Even these 2 are more than one year old, so you can do them again if you want.
Remember also that no survivor on US Secretaries of State and US Secretaries of War/Defence has ever come to an end
I've kept them on my personal to-do list, but I've lost my "internal fire" on survivors for the moment...
I'm in in every survivor you'll do on these subjects !

It's funny because I was about to post a new thread with a big "THIS SUBBOARD IS DEAD" banner and a subtitle saying: PM me if you actually
do
something here, as I'm not here anymore"
Well, I guess we've all lost the magic
TBH, I'm quite satisfied it's dead as I didn't want to moderate any longer and to update all the lists...

Yeah. And once it's gone, it's gone.
Well, it was fun while it lasted, and the subboard had a good run, considering that there were so few committed members at any one time.

I still plan to finish my Doctor Who survivor (hope the crowd of participants doesn't hate me too much.
) but I won't have enough free time until I'm back on vacations. This could wait till December, possibly May.
