Complete Minnesota breakdown

I calculated all the regions with the info I have now.

The entire Twin Cities Metro was:

Kerry 53.22%
Bush 45.57%
Other 1.21%

The outer suburbs (all the metro counties outside of Ramsey and Hennepin) were:

Kerry 44.61%
Bush 54.25%
Other 1.14%

Outstate (everything outside the metro counties) was:

Kerry 47.87%
Bush 50.67%
Other 1.46%

The GOP really dropped the ball outstate, for a Republican candidate to do slightly worse than the national numbers is pathetic. No wonder we picked up so many state house seats.

Now I only wish I could get the exact numbers for Minneapolis and St. Paul so I could calculate exactly how the suburbs voted (especially since the outer fringe of Hennepin county is far more like "outer suburbia" than the inner parts of Dakota and Anoka)
