Rubio will lose to Crist.

If Tancredo gets elected Governor of Colorado then he may become the Constitution Party's nominee, in which case the GOP would have to put up with some challenge.

Rubio will lose??? Last thing I remember this is the year of the "tea party kill every RINO", and Rubio is now leading by 15, and Crist trending at this rate to end up in third place.

Why'd you change it? There was nothing wrong with having Paul on that list. He'll be a tea party icon, particularly if he wins while Angle and O'Donnell lose.

I just don't think he'd be on the ticket by 2012.

If this happens I will first cry and then tackle Dick Wadhams at the central committee meeting if these dumb republicans don't vote him out like they should have last time. if you here something about hecklers, i can guarantee i had a part in it Wink

Portman for VP. Rubio depending on how much the national media will like him. Meg Whitman if she wins depending on how she governs (which i believe will be much better than how she runs her campaign).

Two years is too early to get unqualified credit for solving America's economic problems -- and especially the economic problems of such states as Michigan and Ohio.

Meg Whitman is pro-choice, which I'm thinking would disqualify her from being on the GOP ticket.

Marco Rubio, definitely. Nikki Haley will also become an icon when she wins. I also think that Bill Brady, being young and very conservative from a large blue state, might make a good choice, but I am unsure. Perhaps someone can educate me more on him.

Portman's entire senate candidacy could be read as a thinly veiled attempt to "run for vice president" in 2012.  That may also have been Crist's intention when he first decided to run for senate, but that's obviously not going to happen now.

Well Portman is a fool then, no member of Bush's Cabinet will ever be on a national ticket. Unless the GOP nominee is an idiot though so then maybe it is possible.
