Well, the Poll also says that Rossi is winning the district, which means he's probably back to a tie with Murray.

The district is more Republican than Washington at large (gave Obama about 55%, he got 57% statewide) so Rossi winning it wouldn't doom Murray.

Where does it say that? All I see is:

"A swing toward Democrats was also captured in our Senate poll last week.  After the primary, our KING 5 poll found Republican Dino Rossi ahead, but our last poll found a nine-point swing toward Democrat Patty Murray."
