Libertas proves himself to be a sockpuppet once again.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

George W. Bush.  Seriously, though, the jury is still out as to how this administration is doing.  I would grade his first two years as a C-, a lot lower than I would give President Bush in October 2002.  President Obama promised a bunch, but in reality, he has been a big disappointment.

Can you explain why President Bush did so well, in your opinion, until October 2002 (without saying anything about 9/11)?

For one thing, he brought us out of the 2001 recession.  The rest is because of 9/11.  He was the right president for 9/11.  Gore would have done alright, but I felt comfortable having Bush in office.  As many here know, I supported him going into Iraq in March 2003, but the problem was he went in without a plan after he toppled the Saddam regime and quickly lost my support for the quagmire that Iraq was becoming and that is what caused me to vote for John Kerry in 2004.  He had a less than stellar 2nd term, but it could have been a whole lot worse.  Overall, through his 8 years, I give Bush a C-.  For the first 2 years, I give him a B+.

... He was the right president for 9/11.

This is one of the great mysteries to me.  Why, oh why, do many americans feel this way?
Is his behavior upon hearing of the attack really what you look for in a president?

He's still a reasonably new President, so hard to say really. Went with GHWB because I didn't think anyone else would...I was wrong.

My answer is not there, and that's "too soon to say."  By the way, I have a math degree so don't get me started on dividing by 0 lol
