Both had their agreeable aspects. If I had to choose, Federalists, but only reluctantly and it really depends on which state faction and era of the conflict we're talking about.

I'd say the record and success of the former Anti-Federalists in government is the greatest vindication of the Federalists, actually.

Federalist all the way. It was obvious that the Confederacy was unworkable, and the Constitution, while not perfect, was clearly preferable.

I don't see how a self-identified "Liberal" could have endorsed the Constitution.

Federalist during the Constitutional Convo, but more than willing to support a bill of rights.

However, I'd be a Democratic-Republican in the mold of Jefferson and Madison after the ConCon.
