I keep waiting for this race to tighten up. The thing is, despite the fact the skeletons are rolling out of Coat's closet, he continues to lead by around 20 points. I'm starting to believe this will never close up.

Sorry man, doesn't look like the year for Indiana to have a competitive senate race. Maybe 2016 if Coats is a sh**tty senator.

I agree with you.  It was obvious back in February he had little chance at winning.  Should have waited for Lugar's seat to open up.

Why would he had chosen to run for Lugar's seat, Pence is gonna be the next senator from Indiana, even if he isn't Obama won't win Indiana, so even then it would have been far fetched.

Ellsworth shold of stayed in the House until timing was right for the Dems to win in Indiana again period and that may or may not have been 2012 either.
