Mine:

Kerry 10573 55.35%
Bush 8224 43.06%
Other 304 1.59%

Bush only won 2 out of our 20 precincts. One of these precincts had only 4 votes and he received 100% of the vote. Interestingly in another precinct, there was only 5 votes, all of which were cast for Kerry.

I haven't found data yet, but my county (Marquette) went for Kerry 54-45, and my city (Marquette) is usually more Democratic than my county, so my guess is that Kerry won it solidly.

St. Louis City -  80.4% Kerry
                         19.1% Bush

St. Louis County - 54.4% Kerry
                             45.1% Bush

I think the City was the only area of Missouri to vote against that gay-hating amendemnt that came up a few months ago as well.

Minnesota must be one of only a few states were city and precinct results are available cost free to the public.

Here are the results from my city:

John Kerry:    51.10% 1524

George Bush:    47.65% 1421

While John Kerry did win my city, Democrats winning margins have been shrinking.  This is true for some of the other surronding communites where some of the older DFL folks are being replaced by young couples who tend to vote GOP. This is true for the county at large as well where in 88 Bush 41 received 47% to Dukakis's 52%. Last tuesday that number was reversed.

What city are you from if you don't mind saying.  I am just curious.  Also, where did you find city results?  I have only been able to find precinct or county results.

Thanks,
Jacob

If I had a copy of last week's local paper, I could probably find it.

But I don't.

The village probably voted pretty solidly for Kerry, though.

I reside in Circle Pines, a city in Anoka County.

For the city results, I just did some calculations from the two precincts.

I couldn't find any city breakdowns, but the Republic--contradicting with this site--shows numbers as follows:

BUSH- 944,617 (55%)
KERRY- 759,219 (44%)
BADNARIK- 10,233 (1%)

The official precinct counts are complete. The precincts do not exactly coincide with the city limits, so I added up all precincts with the majority of voters within the city limits.

Total votes cast: 9537

Bush: 5444 (57.1%)
Kerry: 3952 (41.4%)
Badnarik: 72 (0.8%)

Results from my old residence, East Baton Rouge Parish:

George W Bush/Cheney: 99943 54.4%
The haughty, French-looking Massachusetts Democrat, who by the way served in Vietnam/Silky Pony: 82298 44.8%
The rest: 1401  Who cares

Initial Results (Nov 2)

Kerry:  2881  (50.06%)
Bush:  2814  (48.90%)
Nader: 60  (1.04%)
[Badnarik was on the ballot, but I couldn't find any data on how well he did]

Turnout:  48.5% of the total population, at least 61% of the VAP.

Note that this doesn't include absentee ballots/etc., which could very well give Bush the 67 votes he needed.

Unless Bush gains 67 votes (and I doubt he will), this will mark the first time my town has ever voted for the Democrat--despite 9/11 [which hit the town pretty hard], Bush gains throughout New York, and everything else.  The Democrats are slowly making serious inroads here...the southern half of the Town had been a one-party state since its founding in the late 19th Century until last year.

I couldn't find the exact results, but I found rounded numbers, showing that Kerry won by about 51%-49%. This was a huge swing towards Bush, who lost by 66%-31% in 2000. My town is heavily Jewish and was enthusiastic about Lieberman, which explains most of it.
