Sorry . . . but Zoggy just sucks.

Remember those trolls that said MSNBC Online Poll > Gallup? On November 1st, that prediction good be true as Gallup was crazy, but it turns out they were just 3% off, just like 1976. If Bush had won Wisconsin it would have also been like '76 in the electoral college, popular vote is the same as '76, and of course Kerry and Ford both need Ohio to win. Smiley

Democrats have a slight lead in State House seats, GOP have a slight lead in State Senate seats.
Interesting... it looks as though the old pattern of the Democrats doing better the more local the layer of Government is re-asserting itself (also, despite the TX map doodeling, in % terms the GOP House majority is smaller than the GOP Senate majority).

If anyone is interested: http://www.ncsl.org/ncsldb/elect98/partcomp.cfm?yearsel=2005

State Houses:

Dems 2706
GOP  2687

State Senates

GOP 966
Dems 950

Combined

Dems 3656
GOP 3653

That looks a lot like "even" to me (!)
