Because of his voting record in the Senate, Kerry has to talk about Vietnam constantly, otherwise people will paint him as the new Michael Dukakis.
Of course, when I think of Kerry all I can picture is Michael Dukakis with medals from Vietnam....whoops, I forgot, Kerry threw away his medals to protest the war. At least that's what he did in a grandiose public anti-war rally...of course, years later he claimed they really weren't his REAL medals.
