I have not followed the ConCon at all.....I've read no thread in it, and I personally have no interest in it either.

Therefore....fellow senators.....please convince me of your positions regarding this matter, I have no knowledge whatsoever to make a decision myself.

The list of our completed documents is posted here on the Wiki.

We are currently done with 5 of the 8 articles, almost done with Article VI, and then VII and VIII will be finished shortly thereafter. An extension of ten days is all that will be needed to wrap up the Convention and get the document to a vote of the people.

Well unfortunately that's precisely what happens when the ConCon goes on for longer than it should've.

At this point I might as well wait and open a final vote late tomorrow night.

I read it and don't see how it's different from the current Constitution besides the impeachment provision

The point of this Convention is simply to consolidate the amendments and clarify some wording, not drastically change the system. The final product will be a cleaner, more comprehensible document.

One provision, an attempt to mandate elected regional legislatures, was stripped by the delegates, much to my disappointment.

An upcoming provision would create a federal "reset," which, given the dismal level of activity lately, would serve as a tremendous boon to the game in my opinion. But there must be wide-scale popular support for this to happen.

If you can vote in the Senate you can vote in the Convention.

I appreciate this, everyone. I hope that when the time comes to vote for the final product we can have the same amount of support. We desperately need a consolidated constitution.
