That whole thing was a lie considering he wasn't even asked about his affair when he had his tirade.  He was asked if he had any evidence to back up his claim about Cuomo cheating on his ex-wife.  Also a debate is scheduled for Hofstra on October 18th.  Every candidate with the exception of Paladino has so far agreed to the debate.

The logic of that fundraising at the end doesn't make that much sense to me unless they hope that grassroots money will translate into an increased activist volunteer base in a way that simply having Carl writing himself another check would not...because surely direct fundraising appeals on TV ad buys can't be effective, can they?

Yeah, that was the weirdest part - some little-known woman coming in at the end asking for money.   Maybe Paladino doesn't have as much money to spend as we think.

I hope this played better in Buffalo than it would Downstate.  The ad buy was primarily aimed at his base.

In the clip Lunar linked, Roger Stone claims Paladino is Italian and was paying Cuomo a complement with that statement.  Yeah.  I don't know how Stone said that with a straight face.
