Notice how many Democrat internal polls have the Democrat in the low 40's.  This late in the game, that's bad.  This same thing happened with Conway and Paul.  Conway showed a poll with Paul at 45 and him at 42.  If the best an internal can do is 42, then look out below.  The same thing took place in 2006 and 2008 for shell shocked Republicans.

Well, for Conway that isn't that bad. He's not an incumbent nor is he representing the incumbent party in terms of that seat. For Feingold though, it's pretty horrific.

Well at least it shows a close race.

Probably not the best poll, but definitely an improvement from what we've been seeing.

But it's a DSCC internal. An official, Senate Democrat poll. A close race in which he's behind is, at the moment, the very last thing Feingold needs.

I said it once, and I say it again: put a fork in him, I think he's done.

I have to agree with Svennson. Johnson has bought this race, and Russ is gone.

He was also an idiot to not take DSCC funds.

I take it you are all equally offended by the fact that Alan Grayson is a self-funder, as was Ned Lamont in 2006.

I don't care for self-funding candidates, but Johnson's only put in about $4 million; it's not a Meg Whitman or Linda McMahon situation here.

An internal poll shows a sitting incumbant, facing a huge "wave" election from the opposing party, is down 2% and sitting at 42%.

We know how this movie ends.

The fact that someone like Sharron Angle seems to have a better choice of winning at this point than Russ Feingold is unbelievably depressing.

So, we all know that Feingold outraised and has so far outspent Johnson by better than 2:1, yes?
