Who do you guys think won the first debate?  I was only able to catch the closing statements, so I don't know what happened.

I caught a few minutes, and was really impressed by Johnson's performance. Feingold wasn't terrible, but I almost got a sense of desperation. Wisconsin's lucky though to have two good candidates. I wish we could ship one of them to Nevada...

It was probably a tie, which is really a win for Johnson.   Feingold needed to bloody up Johnson a bit, and that certainly didn't happen.  There were pretty low expectations for Johnson going in...could he stand toe-to-toe with the smart career politician?  He didn't seem intimidated at all and gave as good as he got, imo.
