I wouldn't use the word sophisticated.  However, this site has a lot of bright people and those people have helped me take into account a range of differing viewpoints that I otherwise wouldn't have considered.   In terms of sophistication, it is not very and has many other common elements of a male dominated society. Mind you, I don't necessarily think that is a bad thing.

My English, yes. Not that this is perfect, but better than when I arrived here. People tell it to me on chats, that my English is quite formal.

A whole litany of young talent has taught me a lot.......it's a great group to interact with and learn from.

I look at bad car accidents and train wrecks too, even though I try and ignore them.  But yes, your pearls of wisdom are just too much temptation for me.

Sure, I have learned a lot about a lot of things from others around here, particularly about the pop culture of the youngs, but a ton of other stuff too. One thing an old finally gets around to doing if he or she is wise, is to realize and admit just how ignorant they are about so much. And that is one of things that makes life interesting - new knowledge and new experiences. When that ends, you are basically  ready to assume room temperature in my opinion.

you are you are one of those sour sorts. But even your sour, have noting really to do with my life kind still can like someone. I bet it kills you. I bet you are just fighting it. You are just fighting the fact that you do like me. You should be so sour that you can't be happy or honest with yourself.
