I have tried to unravel the mystery of the vote for Fairbanks and North Star borough.  Quite bizarre as you may know.  Here is what I came up with.
Fairbanks : Kerry :4573 Bush 8470 others 413 Registered 24136 votes 13549
North Star : Kerry 10494 Bush 20398 others 1144 Registered 46193 votes 32166

Here is a long term chart showing the vote in Fairbanks and North Star borough since 1960.  It is incomplete but has a lot of information.  Preliminary 2010 results for Fairbanks city.
