It doesn't matter if the poll is too Republican or too Democrat. Either way, a bad poll is a bad poll, and should be ignored. Especially when there's a poll that both sides agree is bad.

When you start excluding polls because you think they look wrong, you open up a pretty massive can of worms. I doubt anyone here wants to go there. It's a scientific poll, so it gets entered.

I wonder if it ever crossed Elway's mind not to release this poll since it is so far off base when compared to other contemporary polls.  I remember back in the 2004 campaign Pew did a poll in late August which showed Bush beating Kerry by 10-15 points.  They didn't believe it so they went right back in the field and got results that were far more in line with other public polls.
