Merriman River Group for Civil Beat:

49% Colleen Hanabusa
44% Charles Djou

The survey (609 Likely Voters) was conducted Oct. 11 by Aloha Vote, a Hawaii subsidiary of Merriman River Group (MRG), a Connecticut research organization that also polled the 1st Congressional District special election in May and the primary election in September for Civil Beat. The margin of error is +/- 4.0 percent.

The group polled the special election in May with the following results:

39.5% Djou
25.5% Hanabusa
25.5% Case

The real results were:

39.4% Djou
30.8% Hanabusa
27.6% Case

They also polled the DEM Governor primary, showing Abercrombie with a 48-31 lead.

He won 59-38.
