Prendergast is the only other bumper sticker I have, besides Crist, on my car.
Prendergast will hopefully break 40% only because he has money and he is actually a new candidate. He's also known and from South Tampa, which is an upper class republican area in this district (who also turns out to vote). It's possible for this race to be close, but it is a 48% minority district, so it would be hard for Prendergast to pick up that many black and hispanic voters.
Also, McCain got 33% in this district, but Bush got 41% (he also won Hillsborough County, where a majority of this district is, while McCain did not).
In 2008 and 2010 the GOP candidate got 30%, but he did not campaign at all or have structure while Prendergast does.
