look, you can stop talking about this guy, because the GOP would much rather see the defense budget cut in half than see any more taxes raised. i.e. they are not going to entertain the thought of raising taxes until the Federal Budget is gutted - and I mean GUTTED.
The fear among the GOP is socialism and the fear is that time is growing very short to save the US, and they're individual freedom. They are NOT going to be willing to throw more gasoline (higher taxes) onto the fire (spending).
The GOP voters are making a final stand.
If they're dead serious about what you stated, there are only 2 candidates that will do what they believe in. And they're quite alike, one is older than the other though.
