He used to be moderate on gay rights, the environment and gun control (who cares but still it counts). He got a 47% from the AFL-CIO, and an A from the NEA.
Yet he voted against ending DADT.

Mark Kirk has got to be the worst Republican senate candidate this year.

In terms of sheer loathsomeness, I'd say Lisa Murkowski takes the cake.

Well Alaska Republicans were at least decent enough to primary that vile bitch, so I'll give a pass on that one.

How many GOP Senatorial candidates besides Kirk admit global warming could be real?

None of the smart ones, so I guess that's why Kirk does.

Either Murkowski or Kirk. Murkowski is already one of the most centrist 5 or 6 Republicans in the Senate; Kirk is pretty centrist too but there is no way to compare him directly with Murkowski.
