I'm considering it. If I go to Dude Fest 2011 and drive through Wisconsin I'm not spending any money in there and will make sure to fill up on gas so I don't have to stop there. Might make an exception for Madison though since it'll no doubt vote for him. Maybe I should just boycott counties that vote against him.

...states vote how they vote, Red. You can't change that by boycotting them. Frankly, I doubt they'd give a remote f**k.

So, no, because it would be stupid.

Worthless state anyway.  Well, I suppose that statement is pretty meaningless coming from me - I try to boycott the whole of the Bad Place.

What difference does it make whether he pulls 49% or 51% of the two-party vote against a photogenic broomstick? How does the one say something else about the state than the other?

You should either boycott the state anyways just because Feingold is not safe, or not boycott it because at least Feingold could be competitive there, which after all is saying something. And since the first is raising the bar ridiculously high...

No, but I'd have your ten-year-old daughter close her eyes during the whole trip.

*facepalm*

And how come I could guess, before reading this, that it was BRTD?

Maybe you can move to Canada when your state votes for Obama's opponent in 2012.

That's what Republicans said in 1976 and 1980 and 1984 and 1988 and 1992 and 1996 and 2000 and 2004 and 2008.

Bad argument. You could have said the same thing about Clinton in 1992 with regards to Vermont.

What? Democrats are the ones known for threatening to leave when the opposition wins (particularly 2004). How many people said that they would move out if Kerry lost?

But it's a stupid statement to make with dead certainty especially when polling shows Obama ahead of even Pawlenty here.

The fact that the two choices are actually tied is a bit goddamn pathetic.

Svennson, why do you cal BRTD 'Red?' No one has called him that since like 2005 and you've been here since what - 2009/2010 - so it looks weird and anachronistic.

BRTD polls are to other Atlas polls as Zogby Internet polls are to real polls.

But what if DudeFest is held in Wisconsin?  You wouldn't give up your man-love weekend because of that would you?

They'll be electing Dan Coats... whom we here in Germany have been exposed to as a hectoring lying "diplomat"... and frankly he's a good enough reason to boycott the state.
