Is this the same Jesse Johnson who ran as the Mountain Party candidate against Manchin for governor in 2004 and 2008?

This must be some perennial candidate....

I'd replace terrible with average...a terrible internal is one showing a 1 point lead,or even showing your candidate behind.

So Sestak's internal from Wednesday showing him two points down was terrible, right?  Wink

An confirmed carpetbagger living in a Florida.

Some kind like Nebraska 1996 Senate race, when an uberpopular Governor, reelected by a widest margin in a GOP wave year of 1994, Ben Nelson, lost unexpectedly to Chuck Hagel.

Not that we can compare Hagel to Rease...

Of course the internals that a campaign decides to release say exactly what the campaign wants. Here, it's trying to say, "hey Republicans we're beating you so don't get excited or anything" while also saying, "hey Democrats it's still pretty close so you still have to donate money and volunteer for us and show up to vote!!"

So Sestak's internal from Wednesday showing him two points down was terrible, right?  Wink

Would've been if independent polling hadn't confirmed it.

An independent poll has confirmed that he's down by two and another shows him down by more.  Wink

Exactly. This tells us almost nothing.

If anything, such a move is genius. They want a Republican, and they get to keep their gov.

I think this one is going to break one way or the other on election day. Also there is a strong possibility polling won't catch on to it.

Seeing as Raese wants to abolish the minimum wage and probably doesn't live in the state most of the time, I hardly see anything genius about voting for such a person. Those reasons are why I think Manchin will pull this off.

Ok, great but I'm not talking about all of the polls in the race. You want to quibble over polls; I just wanted to point out that there is a "terrible" internal in another race and it's being ignored.  Tongue

By the way, that one poll that showed Sestak ahead was dismissed by Sestak's campaign because it oversampled Democrats.  Wink

If these voters were geniuses, they wouldn''t have been living in West Virginia.

I understand you are very into the Toomey-Sestak race, but there is absolutely no reason to talk about it in EVERY SIGNLE TOPIC Wink
