Off topic - Newsweek Generic Poll

I know this isn't where this should be posted, but Newsweek has a new generic poll out tonight and it's a whopper.  It's a RV poll with 10 days to go.  Here are a few snippets.

Generic Number
D - 48
R - 42

Obama JA
54-40

I know this isn't the place to post this, but all I can say is wow.  Newsweek was just sold for a dollar and it looks like they put about one dollar towards this poll.  An RV with 10 days to go.  Crazy.

Well, I think they were like D + 8 last time, so this is an improvement for the Republicans.

After looking at the crosstabs as well as their 2006 results, I have surmised that Republicans lead by 6 among likely voters.
